GOOD SAMARITAN EVENTS FOR 2022

Up here in the North Georgia Mountains since 1981, area churches have joined hands across denominational lines to provide short-term assistance such as food, utilities, and housing to Fannin County residents. To continue we need you and your church to join us in this mission.

The Labor Day Bar-B-Q is our most important fundraiser. It takes many volunteers, over three days to pull it off. We need people to put up tents, tables, and chairs, prepare and serve the food, and clean the park after this event. 

We also need your truck to volunteer.  

Saturday, September 3rd features

THE PIC-NIC-NAC

This event goes from 9 am - 4 pm. 

Learn about Blue Ridge, Enjoy a Picnic, then browse for treasures.  

Exhibitor space is still available.  

Sunday, September 4th from 6: 00 pm to 7:30 pm is the time for our annual Community Worship & DQ Ice Cream Social. Come and worship with new and old friends from many churches and then enjoy the cool treats from our friends at DQ Blue Ridge. 

The Fannin County Senior Center is the sight for the best brunch in the mountains. No charge, but donations are welcome. In 2022 we have a 5th Sunday in January, May, July, and October. Mark your calendar for the next date so you don't miss out. 

We don't always raise money. the Community Thanksgiving Open Table is about making sure everyone in Fannin County has Thanksgiving food and fellowship. We need help setting up and serving soup at Light Up Blue Ridge..
